And there’s something I am crystal clear about—

the the fact that for the longest time we have been relying on food to navigate the ups and downs of life DOES NOT have to be a life sentence. You do not have to live this way anymore.

Many years working as a therapist taught me that, as women, feeling shame, guilt, and disempowered is NOT AT ALL uncommon. We can go from feeling hopeful because our eating is “right on track”, to a few hours later beating ourselves up for not “sticking to” our eating plan.  

Yet we can ASBOLUTELY TRANSFORM our relationship with food. This process of discovery sure takes courage yet it also is profoundly liberating.

It is only natural to turn to food when faced with overwhelming emotions, situations, or plain exhaustion. Yet it is also true that so much heartache and struggle comes when food becomes our go-to coping mechanism in life.

I will be part of the group ready to support you in this journey!

  • One 1:1 (individual) 45 minute “Get to know you” session. This is an opportunity to meet individually with me either before, during, or up until a month after the program ends (you choose) to discuss your own individual situation and history, speak about implementation, or strategize together.   • Weekly Live Group Coaching Calls: Every Friday at 12:30pm EST we meet on Zoom for about an hour to delve into the lesson, answer your questions, and process your experiences, in a safe space where you can confidently walk this journey toward more freedom in your relationship with food.

In this program I poured all my knowledge and experience earned during my 15 years being a therapist to help you get at the root cause of your emotional eating so that you can start taking care of yourself emotionally and not have to deal with the problems that overeating has created in your life.

Twelve weeks is a short time for long-lasting habits to be changed.

You might not feel the work is done by the end of 12 weeks—sure. However, my aim is that by the end of 12 weeks you would have disrupted your previous habits, and your previous ways of thinking and being around food began to shift.

The disruption of old habits will leave room for newer ways to relate to food. And having lifetime access to this program ensures that you can go back to it and continue moving forward with the positive changes that this program aims to spark. There’re always opportunities to continue working together beyond this course if you’d like.

  • MODULE 1

    GOING FROM SCARCITY MINDSET TOWARD AN ABUNDANCE MINDSET

    This module delves deeply into mindset, covering why an abundant mindset is critical and covering various ways to move toward it. This module also engages each of us personally, encouraging us to go beyond the obvious as we try to answer the question: What are we truly looking for with this behavior of emotional eating?

  • MODULE 2

    BUTTRESSING YOUR INTENTION TO LEAVE EMOTIONAL EATING BEHIND

    This module will help you hone on your absolutely compelling reasons WHY you want to leave emotional eating behind, coupled with helping you clarify or create altogether a VISION to embody as a human being who moves swiftly among emotions and situations and has the emotional resources available to take care of her emotional needs.

  • MODULE 3

    MEETING THE REAL NEED: A PATH TOWARD EMOTIONAL REGULATION

    This module goes into depth about a comprehensive, systematic approach to attend to your emotional needs without over-relying on food. It contains a framework, including tools and strategies we can fall back on when we need to navigate strong feelings and uncertainties in ways that nourish us in the long term.

  • MODULE 4

    KINDNESS, COMPASSION, and STARTING OVER AGAIN and AGAIN.

    This module will help you embody the attitude of caring and self-compassion we want to have toward ourselves in this process. We’ll unpack why enhancing our ability to “bounce back” from a difficult day in what relates to food is key and we will start to hone and be encouraged to apply these qualities during the program.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Great question! No, this is not therapy. While I am a licensed therapist, I will not be acting from that capacity in this group. I will be acting as a guide and facilitator of a process of exploration aimed at building a healthier relationship with food. I will encourage you to seek your own therapy services if needed.

  • We will start on Monday January 13th 2025! That day I will send you your first lesson. You will then be receiving a new lesson from me every Monday for a total of 12 weeks. Group calls will be every Friday at 12:30pm EST. Our first group call will be on Friday January 17th at 12:30pm.

  • All live calls will be recorded and made available to you before the end of the week. In that way, if you cannot attend a call live you know you can always watch it in your own time and reap the benefits of the material covered.

  • Due to the group nature of the program, refunds are not offered.

  • I consider these 12 weeks as a very robust beginning on your path toward transformation in your relationship with food. This program provides the stepping stones to kick off your transformation in this area of your life. Still, I imagine this is a path that students will likely continue working on after the program is done as we know that in relationship to food, there is not a “once and done” approach.

  • No. The program starts on January 13th 2025 and we go through the 12 weeks all together with no new members starting during those 12 weeks. This has been done intentionally to foster safety and a sense of cohesion in the group.

  • You have unlimited access to all the course materials for the life of the program to ensure that you can go back and deepen or refresh any topic areas included in the course.

  • While I can’t guarantee that any and all your challenges with food will be taken care of at the end of the 12 weeks, I can assure you that I will be present for you each week to facilitate a process aimed at increasing your awareness and insight about your relationship with food as well as expanding the skills and tools you have at your disposal that can help with emotional regulation so that food does not longer need to be your go-to coping mechanism. You will also have access to me in the private Voxer chat to have a forum to further support you in this process. I will encourage you show up to each meeting as much as possible, practice/ explore with the insights you are developing and the tools you are learning, and reach to me and your group members for support.
